I only play AB, flying for 5 minutes doing nothing then getting shot down by some guy with better maneuverability and being out of the game completely is not fun. There's honestly nothing I can do, my gunners don't do -, I'm slow and fat, so literally the only way to survive is to get lucky, which really irks me. I unlocked an fw-190 and suddenly all my planes got uptiered so now there's planes that can fly directly up and destroy me with their 20mm cannons. Their engines suck so I'm usually never above 3000m, and the only times I've ever gone on good bombing runs was when their team was oblivious and didn't take me out when I was at lower altitudes. The most bull- thing that has ever happened to me was a t-34 shot me through the face of my turret, it ricocheted off the top of the inside of my turret, bounced downward at a 90° angle, went straight into the floor, exploded and killed everyone inside instantly.Īlso I do play bombers, but you can't accomplish - with them. I move forward and my gun goes off target, so I have to stand still and reacquire my target which could take about a second, and in that amount of time the tank is just sitting there with their gun perfectly aligned to where they knew I would be so they just shoot my turret and disable my gun and sometimes my driver. I've done it numerous times, it always ends the same. It's been a long ass time since I've played since the game just frustrates me to no end, but I think I had a panzer IV with the short 75mm barrel, another panzer IV with the longer 75mm barrel with the muzzle break at the end, and that one yellow tank with the side skirts that don't actually do anything.Īs for popping in and out of cover, I'm still at a disadvantage if I do that. Late tier Germans get - on, so enjoy the way up. Bf-109s are energy fighters, FW-190s are Boom and Zoom planes. As for planes, if you want to grind them fast, get bombers. Use the xray in the garage to learn your tanks, and your enemy's tanks. If you come up against an enemy you can't kill fast, shoot his gun barrel, that way he can't shoot back at least. TL DR: The key to success with most German vehicles is to not get shot, use your mobility to be unpredictable and utilize your good to great guns to one-shot pricks. FWs are not good at turning ,but they pack a bigger punch and climb better. From there you can transfer into the later Bf-109s and the FW-190s as well. Bf-109s start getting good at the E-1, and when you get the E-3 you're gunna love them. The early Italian planes are garbage, don't bother. You should be using APCBC/APHE shells as much as you can, using APCR only on flat surfaces when you can't pen, like a KV or something. Germany also has no bad tank destroyers, except maybe the 105mm StuG and the Jagdtiger, but those are BR issues and I never played that StuG much. A personal favourite of mine is the long 50mm that the Puma and the later Pz IIIs get, the short 50 is good too, adn the 37mm Pz IIIs are also capable. What tanks do you have? All of the German guns are great except for the 20mm ones and the 37mm on the Pz.38s. As for flanking, it's situational, use APCR if you can't pen. Germans don't have armour in most of their tanks, don't rely on it unless you're really good at angling and side-scraping. Mobility means you can re-position if - goes bad. If RB, get into good hiding spots or places you can retreat from easily.

Now, do you play AB or RB? If you're playing AB in a tank with no armour, pop out and shoot from cover only. The Germans also have a form of gun stabilizer, but it's finicky, go to the wiki and read up. Sturmpanzer is a joy to use, one of my favourites.įorget about moving and shooting, unless you're British or American.
